Notes Grey’s Anatomy - April KepnerI’m catching up on last weeks episode of Grey’s Anatomy (love that show)
and I must say I’m kind of sad - for once not because of the drama going on in the show.
April Kepner - the virgin little christian girl on the show is being dogged on so bad.
She had sex with a friend and colleague and is regretting it and feels guilty because of her commitment to God to stay a virgin until marriage. She is now trying to “revirginize herself”. Yes, its a silly term but she is trying to not make the same mistake she previously made.
Basically in this episode, the guy she had sex with is angry because it meant something to him and he feels shes just trying to pretend it never happened. Everyone is being insensitive to her and making fun of her “little christian” belief system.
I’m really sad and angry about this. Yeah, its just a TV show…
But this is pretty accurate to real life.
PRAISE GOD (even in a TV show) there is a character who realized her mistake, feels guilty, and has prayed to God for a second chance and is following through on it.
I dislike how they are making her seem ridiculous and silly.
She’s awesome.
