I went back to my high school today for the first time since graduation.

visited my favorite teacher, I must say I love that crazy old man so much.

He is my friend.

SO good talking with him.

New term I learned today.

Someone who will help you and hold you accountable for your walk with God.

Someone GOD PUTS in your life, to make you realize he is working in it.

A person who you can go to, explain your inner thoughts (spiritual or otherwise) and have them uplift you and take care of you.

When my teacher/pastor was describing this to me today, instantly… I thought of mine.

That I have been blessed with such a wonderful friend in my life.

I don’t quite understand how this is a ‘secret’.

I must say I have had many “best” friends over the years-

If you would ask me now who it is, I’d tell you…

Austin - my boyfriend. I don’t want to sound silly like every other female who claims her boyfriend to be her best friend and blah blah BLAH. Austin was always there for me before there was any love interest between us. ALWAYS there to listen. We never really hung out but we would talk. and talk. and talk. He’d keep my secrets and try to comfort me, and we’d exchange advice on various topics. He is now my boyfriend and one of my best friends because he continues to do all of those things.

Alex - BFFFs for life, seriously. I’ve been best friends with this kid for 6+ years. We’ve drifted a little recently, but I KNOW I can come to him for anything. 

Laura - she’s my sister, thats all I have to say. She cries with me, laughs with me, is ugly, pretty, happy, smiley, weird, loud, and chill with me. Memories forever.
